The Solution to Filmmaking in Utah
Posted by Mark Hedengren on
As I said in my last blog post, in Utah, we have a problem marketing beyond face to face interactions. When you are selling your services as a video maker be sure to point out that with a video you amplify your sales reps. You allow people from within an organization to pass around info. It's like your sales reps became many. Then, after the company has researched, utilizing the videos you have made, the sales rep can come in and close the deal. The videos help pave the way for the sale.
Also in your video production company, I would have one person whose primary job is to sell and reward them well. With a 10 or 20% commission. After all, nothing happens if you don't have a client in the first place. Best of luck!
