In our ever changing world of film the Comcast and Disney take over of 21^stCentury Fox means the two company’s will account for 40% of all money spent on content creation in the USA and 20% of the global content creation. Those are two big beasts. Netflix is gaining but will need to scale up rapidly to catch up. It is interesting to see if media will still be dominated by large media conglomerates or with destruction being democratized. The recent mergers Comcast and Disney have executed is about survival. It remains to be seen if that will occur.
